Production History

Our 1st production “A Holiday Affair”, shot on 16mm film in 1999, received the Audience Award for Best Feature Film at the Brooklyn Film Festival in 2000.  Our 2nd production “Hooray for Mister Touchdown” also on film was a 1930’s period film that was an audience favorite at a variety of festivals throughout the U.S. including Asheville, Sedona and FirstGlance Philadelphia in 2004-05. Our 3rd production “Chasing Butterflies” shot in HD was released on DVD by Vanguard Entertainment in 2010.

We are currently in post-production on our latest project “Ripped!”  We shot it over two summers using a Red One camera, and as always, many Ma & Pa cast and crew veterans were along for the ride.

We are looking forward to premiering the film in August 2013.

Ma & Pa Pictures was founded in 1999 by
Rod Bingaman and Maura Shea to produce feature
